Mads is a younger brother to Lars Mikkelsen who is also an actor with international recognition.
Ever since Mads’ film debut in 1996 he has led a successful and rewarded career. He has won the best actor at the Cannes film festival, the European film awards, and the Zulu awards to name a few. He also has been voted the sexiest man in Denmark multiple times 🙂
