After her experience on the show she co-wrote and released her first single “Shattered” with Melanie Fontana. Shortly after, she signed with Sony ATV Music Publishing and started releasing more songs.
Even though she entered the entertainment business at a young age, she is doing it all on her own terms, writing and producing her own songs and directing her own music videos.

In October 2020 she released her highly anticipated debut album “Leave It Beautiful”. It is a very personal album and the lyrics tell the story of Astrid S’ journey to where she is today.
Multi-talented as she is, in November 2021 Astrid made her acting debut as Cinderella in a Norwegian remake of an East German-Czechoslovakian fairytale movie from 1973: “Three Wishes for Cinderella” (Tre nøtter til Askepot in Norwegian).
For that movie, she released her first original Norwegian-language song “Når snøen smelter“.
Today, with over 2,3 billion streams on hit singles Astrid sells out world tours. Her biggest hit is the song “Hurt So Good” from her 2020 studio album, which has over 870M streams to date. It became a Tik Tok sensation which then spread out to become a global trend across social media.
